Diabetes Management

Tired of using Insulin & taking multiple pills each day to control your blood sugar?

Diabetes is a chronic health condition characterized by high levels of glucose (sugar) in the blood.

Glucose is a primary source of energy for the body’s cells, but in individuals with diabetes, the body is unable to properly regulate the amount of glucose in the blood, leading to a buildup of sugar in the bloodstream.

Cholesterol & Triglycerides

Cholesterol is a vital component of cell membranes, which surround and protect the cells in the body. It plays a role in maintaining the integrity and fluidity of cell membranes, and it is also used to produce hormones such as estrogen, testosterone, and cortisol. Cholesterol is also needed to produce vitamin D, which is important for bone health, and bile acids, which help the body digest fats. The liver is able to produce all the cholesterol the body needs, but cholesterol is also found in some foods.

Cholesterol is transported in the blood by lipoproteins, which are particles made up of cholesterol, proteins, and triglycerides. There are two main types of lipoproteins: low-density lipoprotein (LDL) and high-density lipoprotein (HDL).

Weight Loss

Have been trying to lose weight but have not been able to make any progress?

it can be disheartening. Despite your efforts to eat healthily & exercise regularly, the number on the scale may not be changing. This can be a sign of weight loss resistance, which indicates an imbalance in your body’s biochemistry. It means that there is a deeper underlying cause that needs to be addressed to achieve successful weight loss.

There are several factors that can impede weight loss, including hormonal imbalances, inflammation, chronic infections, toxins, and food intolerances. These issues can create roadblocks that hinder weight loss efforts, even when you follow a healthy diet & exercise regularly.

Liver Health

The liver is like the unsung hero of our bodies! It is a real multitasker. Not only does it help with digestion by producing bile, but it also processes nutrients, detoxifies harmful substances, and stores essential vitamins and minerals. Without it, we’d be in a bit of a pickle.

The liver is the largest internal organ in our body, and it is tucked away right under the ribcage on the right side. One of its main gigs is to process the stuff we eat and drink. When you chow down, the liver gets busy breaking down fats, producing glucose, and storing vitamins and minerals.

Oncology Nutrition

Oncology nutrition is a specialized field of nutrition that focuses on addressing the nutritional needs and challenges of individuals undergoing cancer treatment.

In the context of oncology nutrition, in conjunction with conventional oncology care, our approach would involve a comprehensive evaluation of the individual’s overall health, lifestyle, and the specific factors contributing to their cancer, as well as addressing nutritional needs in a personalized manner.

The goal of oncology nutrition is to support patients in maintaining optimal nutrition, managing treatment side effects, and improving overall well-being during their cancer journey.
